There have to be thousands of bands just like All Parallels. While they are not bad in the technical sense of the word, there are certainly few traits about them that would set them apart from any of their peers. In All Parallels' case, their brand of heavy alt-rock is a generic, middle of the road affair that lacks any sort of hook, drive or artistic edge that will capture the attention of any musical audience. The term "dime a dozen" pops into mind when listening to bands such as this. The music All Parallels plays is a somewhat heavy poprock that sticks to basic riffs, punkish singing and yelling and midpaced tempos that leave the band in energy limbo. In other words, You Won't Feel a Thing lives up to its title because a listener won't have any emotional response other than nodding off. Technically, these guys are a proficient three piece who can at least play, but when the songs are lackluster, is there really any need to delve any further?
